CRYPTOPSY Begin Recording New Album
May 25, 2005Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY have posted the following message on their official web site:
"As of Monday, May 16th, CRYPTOPSY have been at Studio Vortex (Saint-Constant, Quebec) with Sebastien Marsan at the helm, busily recording the new album. So far over half the drum tracks are completed, and the sound is huge."

As previously reported, a pre-production recording of a new CRYPTOPSY track, entitled "Carrionshine", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location (5 MB).
"Carrionshine" is scheduled to appear on the Canadian death metallers' fifth album, which is scheduled for a late 2005 release via Century Media Records. "Each song has a very unique identity and some of the material is a progression from what you’ve heard from CRYPTOPSY in the past," the band recently said about the new compositions. "The album concept has a very distinct beginning and end."
